By introducing tellurium to this free-machining copper, CW14500 copper, or C109 copper as it is otherwise known, the machinability is raised considerably to 90% without any impact on conductivity or ductility. CW14500 Free machining copper is also not susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement and has a good hot and cold workability making it ideal for testing environments.
